Golf League Rules

National League

  • Every Golf League user is automatically eligible for the National League once an account has been created.
  • All on course play will be governed by the most current version of the USGA Rules, found here.
  • The National League will automatically take into account your Golf League Handicap.
    • The Golf League Handicap takes an average of your middle scores, giving you a score of what you are likely to shoot on an average day.
    • For the first two rounds played in Golf League, the handicap that was uploaded by the player will be used to determine their score.
    • After the second round, your handicap will be calculated based on the average of your score differential of the scores posted to Golf League. Your handicap will be updated after each round.
  • The National League will be live from June 1st through October 31st, 2022. Scores MUST be submitted within these dates.
  • To qualify for the National League, Golf league users must play at least 10 rounds.
    • A round consists of either the front or back 9. If you play 18, that counts as two rounds!
    • Qualify to win a range of prizes!
    • Once you have submitted over 10 rounds, the National League will take into account the 10 best scores of all the rounds you submit.
  • Users must sign up and pay for their own greens fees.
  • Each course will only count towards the National League the first time it is played that season.
  • Users must play with at least one other Golf League player to be able to confirm their score.
    • Users will receive an app notification alerting them to confirm the score.
  • All golfers must finish each hole. No “gimmies” or “breakfast balls” on 1.
  • All male players will play from the blue tees.
  • All female players will play from the tees with the shortest distance to the pin.
  • For any questions on the rules, see USGA Rules and Interpretations.
  • All infractions will be subject to final ruling from the Golf League committee and could result in disqualification.
  • Scores must be immediately uploaded to the Golf League App after completion of the round.
